Has anyone else seen the guy who has 3 Mark III's a MarkIV 2 or 3 D -104 mic's, and a couple of Browning mic's, along w/ a VFO and one or two other items. The picture shows them in the original boxes. He will not take them out of the boxes. And he wants $5,000 for the lot. He has not had them working in over a year. But they all worked at that time. I don't think he states if they have been rebuilt. but i don't think so. Good luck w/ that. OH, he had to re-list them. They did fly on the 1st auction.

Mercy! I know that Brownings will usually bring an arm and a leg at sale but that price is a bit much for that stuff. Wonder why the guy won't bring the stuff out of the boxes? I wouldn't bid on something that I can't see, you're taking a chance on what you'll be getting as it is.

Ya, get a load of this. First he had them listed for $5000 then she upped it to $5275 I think it was to cover shipping. Now it's down to $4500 with free shipping. And the items are NOT NEW! Actually the listing stated not used in 5 years! He said the rainy day had arrived? I guess that suppose to mean he needs the money. Well guess who bought the TramD201A for $600 You get one guess....ding ding ding your right!

A lot of money is right Hillbilly. I haven't followed this as long as you have Mark4, But it caught my attention. If I was to bid, the max I would go is $3,100 w/ free shipping. Even $4500.00 is nuts. Or $4250.00 for that matter. You might have 300 - 325 in shipping costs. Wrong time to be selling that lot of gear. Maybe some oil sheik will buy it. ;D

Me too, They are at $4,500 now. maybe they got the message that $5,000 was to much? Not that $4,500 is much better. but it is a start.

Hmmmm.....let me see. Will not open the boxes.........these could be mint, collector quality, bricks or even worse some Kraco and JC Penny Pinto radios in Browning boxes.
Maybe if you can afford to buy them you can afford to make a trip to Golden, CO and see them first hand. Who knows.........maybe they belong to someone in the Coors family and you could get some "FREE BEER"? That would make it worth the trip....almost.

Nice! Now someone is scamming browning radio sales on ebay in China! Trying to get a quick $4500 I wonder what the shipping cost would be? Oh, just send it on the big boat with all the other crap we buy. And don't forget the LEAD!

I don't like COORS that much. But some of that lead that mark4 was speaking of sounds good. OK, maybe not. My guess is it will take the seller to drop $1,000 to sell those, and open the boxes w/pic's. I may be wrong. What do you think?

1st off, anybody that buys a radio sight unseen deserves a load of bricks. As the day is long can't tell you how many radios I've seen that were suppose to be mint. And looked like a pile of crap. If you want to sell off your collection you should do it one radio at a time. And show the item to the potential customer! Duh!

Well, yes, we know that. But it is fun to see him try to sell these, without him showing what's in the boxes. Its a real hoot to see the price drop w/ each listing. Oh, But he has free shipping!! ;D

In case you didn't notice. The price has shrunk, so is what you get. Like the MarkIV and face plates.....

He or she is starting to get the idea that this sell them as a lot won't work. Now, if they pull the subject Mark III's and mic's out of the boxes. take a few pics. Maybe we might have a sale. But i have a feeling that you would still need to rebuild the transmitters to some degree if its been five years since they have been turned on. They just need a little more time, and you will see some more tweaking of price and what's up for auction.

Yea, and it has the crapy channel selector! May have been gone through. But I just went through it again. And from what I see it needs a whole lot of parts replaced!

Now we are at $650 for (1) eagle and a D104. But what He has a Picture of it. Still seems a bit high for a MKIII that you can't be sure that it will not need work??? At least he got the right idea now. sell em one at a time

Yes, But not much effort into the pictures. You cannot see any detail. How about shots of the inside top and back of the radio etc.

At least he got the right idea now. sell em one at a time Now if he cut the price in half it might be worth it depending if it worked or not. From the picture it doesn't look all that great for that kind of money. The face looks dual, as is the paint around the on-the-air light. I see he still wants $900.00 for the Tram D201A. I guess everything he owns is made of gold
