I don't know if any of you have been following the news about the hijacking of the Saudi oil tanker ship by pirates but I saw where India sent out a couple of it's warships and fired on it and sank it, ha, ha, ha! I just hope that the crew wasn't harmed and got off safely and the pirates went down with "their" ship. The thing was full of crude oil and I'm wondering about the huge oil slick that had to result.

Tombstone, I dont beleive the tanker was destroyed, but instead I beleive it was one of the other pirate ships that they sank. I was just reading the latest news of the hijacking and they said that the Saudis were negotiating to try to get the ship and hostages back. This tanker was headed for the U.S. with oil. If it was the one they sank, you can be sure the prices at the pumps will be up over night ! Sniper

Yeah, Sniper. After I posted that I checked out Fox News and they were reporting that the Saudis were negotiating to get the tanker back. It must have been a pirate ship that they sank and Fox reported that smaller craft was seen speeding away. Now I'm totally confused but you're right, if the oil tanker sank that would be a good excuse for the oil companys here to raise prices.

We think that the "pirate ship" is a phony . It's just another way to try to jack up the falling crude oil prices.
