On a Tram 201HW i have no volts on pin 4 of v701. The final 6l6gc. All resistors check good. Does it get its voltage from T600? The orange wire coming out of T600 has no volts & i am not sure what it is suppose to be. 238

check r642 and 643 7 and 15 watt power resistors and prob only when keyed

After checking further, it has voltage on transmit on pin 3&4 on the final. Should it have voltage on receive also, are only on transmit? 238

If I am right should only have voltage when keyed.
The voltage at netu link should be around 210 volts just before R 716.

I will have to check that. At the tube it is about 250. R716 /R714/R715 all read way off. 715&714 read 66K each. 238

Yea R716 2.7 k 2w R715 and 714 are 33K 2w Make sure you lift one side when ckecking them.
Also check the voltage just before r716 and after the link.
By the way what is it doing or not doing??
250 is a little high just replace them if off.

At the link it is 236. At the tube it is 220. Sam's book shows 381 volts. 714 715 read 44K. 716 reads 3.3K. It works, but the watts are low and i was checking things out. 238

I would change out the resistors and run through the bias and neutralization steps but that's just me.

The orange wire coming out of T600 has no volts & i am not sure what it is suppose to be. If the receiver dial has been modified for transmit, then the orange wire will be grounded. Alan

With all of the power resistors in place, R643/ 642,about 2 watts. All check OK. My problem started when i was hunting voltage at pin 4 on the final. The sch did not show transmit only. So i was on the wrong trail to start with. Thanks for the help i will start on it again neck week. 238
