There were quite a few brownings on CRR 9/24. Attendance was good. We also got to hear our Kansas neighbor, Doc Hammer, via the interweb at the start. Great to talk with you Doc Hammer for sure. I ran a browning MARK I (although I don't think they actually called the pair that?) They're labeled R-27 and S-23 Eagles. This time they were all 10-8 and straight with the one bastard knob replaced with the correct factory one. Actually I went to the last radio swap meet looking for the right knob and ended up getting the whole setup again Skeeter ran a new Mark II with a 776 mic and Knight Train ran his new pristine Mark III. Even Camera Man came in and was running his browning with a capacitor cascade box and tuned his ping in to match ours. At one point, all the brownings were all pinging the same tones, freaky! Everyone sounded great.
