Just a quick blurb to mention I donated one of Scott's old Astron 35 amp power supplies to a local operator in need. It was surplus to my needs and 44 would say "I have to switch radios because my battery is running down" Not anymore my friend. 44 has let me borrow SAM's and given me small parts on occasion and I get a good feeling when equipment stays local for some reason

Excellent! I didn't know he had to run 12V stuff off of batteries. You've done your good deed for the day........

Yes sir, Tickle, Ken, Tim, Ron and now 44 have benefited from my ability to stumble upon excess power supplies for local dispersion Hey Sandbagger you sounded good yesterday from your mobile in Fairview Village. Sorry I had to jump out, but I did get to hear ya signing off with 44 later. I finally got that new Connex 4300HP tweaked a bit so it would swing pretty good without the need for a swing kit. I had Zero noise yesterday and I kept saying on air it must be due to a solar event. Falcon said the solar weather site just said the flux was down a bit but I knew better. Just saw this morning that the local news reported that aurora made it as far south as Milwaukee yesterday. I could hear everyone local super-duper including the guys down in Delaware county and south Jersey mid-day without all that Mexicali BS!

I try and do that myself if I can to help out others.
