Just saw where they called one knob the "Power Mic" or mic gain most likely. Those crazy marketing departments. Still a cool vintage rig with a good chassis.

There was a Pace base that had the same circuit board as the the Royce 642. Sams Photofact never made a Photofact for the Royce 642, but I wound up finding the same circuit board in another Sams Photofact under the Pace brand name. Lets see if I can find it....I think it may have been the Pace 8193 model listed in Sams Photofact 280. Night Ranger

It would be cool if someone generated a CB radio main board master cross reference. I know I saw a SAM's master list of covered radios on their site, but I'm not sure if included a cross reference. Maybe that would be a good starting point.
We must get creative when looking for technical information on these old rigs that's for sure.
