TV, and an old one, actually two. The top section "bow-ties" are for VHF and the lower rectangle screen-looking thingy is for UHF. The bird is optional, lol.

This is on my neighbors roof. Any clue on what it is? THAT is a relic from an age long ago. A set of stacked (that's 3db more gain) bowtie style TV antennas that were popular in the late 1950's and early 60's. Strictly for VHF. The "screen" looking thing under the bowties was a UHF antenna.

This is on my neighbors roof. Any clue on what it is? That is a very old TV antenna. It is probably from the 1960s or 1970s. Night Ranger

I see similar antennas all over the place, some in better shape than others. One particular example in Stowe looks to be in great shape and is quite large. It sits on a stately, well kept colonial. I envision a little old couple inside, sitting on the same sofa they bought back then, with plastic covers of course. Probably watching reruns of I love Lucy with the volume all the way up, lol. But I digress.
