I have a Hitachi 6BQ5 in my Cobra Cam 88. Does about four watts & swings to 12 watts. I bought a new GE 6BQ5 as a backup tube and it does only 2 watts with little forward swing. I know the tube is new, tests strong. Why does not the GE perform at RF?

I did not bother to re-peak the RF output tank circuit as it only made 1/2 power out- to far out of wack. I ordered Russian 6BQ5.
