Channel 34 on the receiver?
The transmitter just rolls up to channel 34 and beyond.
The receivers are not all built the same, especially if you have an older Mark 3 receiver that says "XTL1" and "XTL2" to the right of "CB".
That one came from the factory with only one tuneable band, "CB" that stopped at channel 23 (older radios) or channel 27 in the later ones. That receiver came with only one 31.4 MHz crystal. The "HF" band found in the later Mark 3 receiver used a second crystal, 31.72 MHz.
If that's the receiver you have, the channels above 27 are usually installed in the "XTL1" position. What the tuning dial will read for channel 34 still depends on which crystal was retrofitted to it. The upper band crystal for older Browning receivers was 31.70, not 31.72. Moves the dial over two channels above channel 27.
I think that's what you're asking about, how to get channel 34 on the receiver?

Umm, okay.
27.345 is CB channel 34. Just roll the transmitter up to 34, with the right-hand LED dark.
As for the receiver, it's still a wild card. Don't know which version of the receiver you have. The one with "CB-XTL1-XTL2", or the one with "CB-HF-XTL"? An ID of this would be a big help.
The spot switch should allow you to get the receiver tuned in on frequency once the transmitter is set to channel 34.

2600 I want one of your digital vfo’s for my Mark lll with red digits. I have a later model Mark lll, to get the channels below 1 what crystal do I need to receive? Right now it has a 31.400 and a 31.720. Does the new one get solderd on the switch as well? I plan on taking a road trip down there Friday March 1. Let me know if you have the vfo in stock.
