I believe the tube CBs are going down in price except Browning, Tram and other exotic CB tube radios. 2 years ago it took about $100 to buy a clean, but not mint tube type 23 channel CB. Clean Courier Royal were not under $100 two years ago, now $60. I noticed on ebay sales clean tube type 23 channel CBs are about $50-$60. Some Sonar 23 channel go for higher. A dirty appearance tube CB is about $30. Perhaps demand is shifting to the better quality vintage solid-state CBs.

I can't count the number of old Panasonic chassis (and other brands) of 23 channel CB radios I saw sitting on hamfest tables with $10 and $15 price tags that were still there at the end of the day.

I was referring to ebay prices. Ham fest with CB gear is not even 25% the price of ebay tube CB radios ten years ago or now. eBay is an instant buy with over 9000 CB radios for sale everyday where as a Ham fest is once a year and many do not want to wait for a slight possibility the CB radio they are wanting would be at that particular Ham fest. CB equipment at ham fests are sold for junk as we all know Hams do not like CBers although 50% of them were CBers before they became a Ham- go figure.
