Good Luck.I had a MK IV several years ago & it got stuck on channel 16 which was kind of OK since everyone locally talked on channel 16.I was told after I sold it that the new owner sprayed some type of cleaner on the plug connections on the plug that connects the transmitter to the receiver & it started working. He was supposed to send me a video of it working but he never did.I sent him an email several months ago & he said he has since Sold it but that it was still working but I don't know if it was or not? I sold it & purchased a MK IVA & it changes channels like it is supposed to.I just sent the MK IVA transmitter to Barkett's Electronics in Alabama for some minor repairs but they said they are not busy so it should be back very quickly & that is good news.I miss my Beautiful Golden Bird singing to me & to others. Ok Everything is working great again. I was moving the transmitter forward to disconnect everything so i could give it a good cleaning and i found
the jumper going to the receiver was loose .Dont ask me how (gremlins i suspect )lol I turned the radio back on and all is good .
