Here's the placeholder for CRR and related activities for the new decade. Hard to believe we've been holding CRR's since 2008. Things have kind of strayed a bit from strict classic radio talk but we still like to fire up the vintage rigs and make them bark.... at least for a little while. 2019 saw the loss of a couple of local ops - Blockbuster, Pocket Change, and Tickle. Hopefully we won't lose any more this year - although none of us are getting any younger. My collection has grown a bit with the addition of a Lafayette Telsat SSB 25, Realistic Navaho Pro, and TRC 47. But I also sold some radios at a fall hamfest. Hopefully my collection is becoming more aligned toward the radios I truly want, which are those which were owned by local friends in the mid 70's, as well as those dream rigs from the time that we all wanted, but didn't have a snowball's chance of affording as teenagers.
Here's hoping we have another great year of vintage radio fun!

I'm going to try to make some videogates this coming year. It was a bit cumbersome for me to make them with my video camera, the file size was HUGE for an hour's worth of CRR. Now I have an iPhone 11 and that might be an easier way to do it.
