A customer of mine across town has one. Loves it.
So far everybody else I've heard from was on the 'net, not face-to-face.
The one thing you must have is a place to mount it that will withstand the stress.
It's fairly heavy. That's how he got the wind-speed rating for an antenna so long. Trouble is, they have a reputation for tearing loose a house bracket or a chimney bracket.
Unless you have a suitable tower or similar place to mount it, worry about it coming down. A chimney mount won't cut the mustard.
But the punch line is..... Last few folks I heard from that had one come down reported that the Interceptor itself was undamaged. Only their wimpy mount was damaged.
It's not just the weight that creates this situation. It's the leverage, mostly. The Interceptor is so long, that it's easy to understimate the leverage that it will place against your mounting point in a stiff wind.
Now it's time to hear from someone with FIRST-HAND knowledge. Those are all the rumors that I have to pass along.
It's an expensive antenna, but at least you are getting something stout and well-made for the money.

Sorry this post is so late,I moved, the last part of june and have been very busy., plus I have been awaiting my tower from a person off of E-Bay, that was having trouble. This is a very well built antenna, Very easy to put together(I can do it), Great instructions.Right now the antenna is 10 feet off of the ground, swr is less than 1 to 1 (no fine tunning yet) I know it will need some adjustment when i get it up on the tower. (allmost have all the money to order the new tower.) 10 foot off the ground, I have talked quite a few places,(Skip) , and all over local. I am VERY happy so far with this antanna, Yes it cost more than an antron-99,or any similar antenna. I would buy another I-10K. When I get this antenna up on my tower I will post it here. Thank You Jay and Steve for all your hard work and time on this GREAT antenna. wewjr ;D ;D

What do you think of the Mr. Coily antenna? Looks really nice! $500 greenbacks! No groundplane antenna is worth $500.00, I don't care who makes it!
