Grumpy has to add this to his collection. It receives without an antenna. Got to be one of a kind.

Yea, how can you know it works good without an antenna? Receiver good to .2uV? I should ask........

I see that all the time on Ebay. Usually they go one more step and key up a rado with no antenna and say that it works because the transmit light came on!

I want one of those magic radios! If they could just get them to work on transmit without the antenna.

Why not just be honest, and say you don't know if it works. Or even better, No transmit. Now i feel better. I told the truth. Ahh that so easy if you are not trying to ripoff the bidder. Oh well. Buyer beware!!

Yeah, being honest is best. Someone has a Courier listed? I won an auction on a Courier 23 a couple of years ago, The seller said that it worked, all I really wanted was the Turner 454X mic that was on it. Good thing too because the radio did nothing but blow fuses but the mic is like brand new, the radio was the filthiest thing that I ever saw. I still have parts of it here. I use the 454X for sideband with my Browning Mark III. I find that it has a more mellow sound than the unamplified D-104 that I use for AM.
