I was wondering if people here could post their favorite websites for mods and radio alignments. That would be good info for those that don't have any techs around. Also any websites for older radio tune ups. Hopefully this will get some reponses.

I have a Cobra 25 LTD and I wanted to have it tuned up and have some mods to make it a better CB. But I'm new at this and don't understand what everyone is talking about so I have to ask allot of questions to get what I want!

I really appreciate the leads to all these sites for mods and tune-ups, some I never even heard of! I am not a repair shop just a hobbyist and and I have to say that this forum and all the members have given me a shot in the arm! Thanks!!
I do have a couple of questions for all of you.... I have put several radios on ten meters with good success, how much effort to get to 12 meters or even 15? Also any ideas of adding CW to AM/SSB rigs?

First thing with these radios is DO NOT turn the RF power all the way up. You will get enough power out with keeping it low and the modulation will be much cleaner and louder. The voltage regulator is prone to go bad on these types of radios. My guess would be it is about ready to go. Driving these radios hard is a no-no!
