Is the live feed on 21 or 16 LSB? It's saturday night 11.8.08 The Saturday night Classic SSB roundup kind of fizzled. I'm no longer able to make it on Satuday nights, and the rest of the gang seemed to lose interest. The audio server is parked on channel 21 except for Wednesday nights now. There has been some talk about reviving the SSB net on Sunday nights, but nothing concrete yet........ |

Thanks for the information Sandbagger. At least I know where the live feed is from most of the time now so when the skip starolling in I just might be able to hear myself. I haven't heard anyone from Pennsylvania but I have talked to guys in north and south carolina which is a few clicks south of where it needs to be. I'll keep trying though. It was funny last night, one guy was talking about people that go to Wal mart at 5 or 6 in the morning , just going in their pajamas. I'm in Arkansas and I've seen the very same thing here. I guess there's no incentive to dress up when Wal Marting before daylight...LOL

well now i c were the splash is coming from when i try to listen in, i would put my base on either of the channels that ya guys have listed or i might have it on 26.785am, i do monitor ch.21 so that the locals here can yell for me since they dont have the extra channels, next time ya on the air tell everyone i said hello from here, have a safe and warm winter, happy DX'ing...Dj...Dj

If that is the case then I will change the banner. Let me know!From what I've observed, there doesn't seem to be any activity on Saturday nights anymore. I would park the audio server there if I was home, but after a couple of weeks after I dropped out, eveything seemed to have died. So you could probably drop the SSB roundup for now, although, like I said before, there has been some talk of starting it up again on Sunday nights. But nothing concrete yet. When the dead of winter sets in and there's no baseball or football to watch, I'm sure there'll be some more talk about it. |
