I previously started a thread asking if Galaxy made a Mobile CB that is 400-500 watts. Connex actually makes a Mobile CB that is 400 watts, the CX4300-400. The problem I'm having now is that my Dad does not feel comfortable purchasing anything over the internet and when I check at YellowPages.Com for a list of CB stores in Illinois, MOST of that list is just communications companies that supply various radios for the police, construction companies, etc. Only one on that list was an actual CB store and they did not carry that particular CB. UGH! This is getting to be a real P-I-T-A. If no one here knows of how I can find CB retailers in Illinois, does anyone know the name of the company that makes Connex, so that I might ask them who they distribute to in Illinois? I already tried searching for a Connex Company, with no luck. Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to give me. I tried to teach my Dad how to use the internet, but it's a loosing battle....he's just not into those "new-fangled contraptions"
