A fellow operator found a old mobile at a estate sale. (silent key) It is a Drake Browning, 23 channel. Gray in color black letters. Has a 2 pin mic jack. Looks to be made in the late 50's or early 60's It has a civil defense sticker on the face. Didn't see any model number on the face or the back of it. The only number may be a serial # 23 55 stamped on the back panel. He needs to find a power cord/plug for it. I guess this radio is set up to run 12 volt only? Anyone ever see one of these?

Yeah. I had a Browning Drake M-523 with matching desktop power supply and speaker. Never did anything with it and sold it. You might contact Alan (Fixr) about whipping up a power cord for it. Here's the CB Tricks page on it: Browning Drake M-52373.

Hello I know this thread is a bit old, but I just picked up an M523 and could use some schematics. No power cord and am missing a few tubes. :-( Thanks Chris
