But I have a full time job (same employer for last 15 years), and a 3 year old daughter. That guy thought I come home, and have nothing to do but work on radios. Even though I reiterated that I am not a tech or a CB shop, and that I do this without time constraints, and whenever I can get to them. They cannot seem to comprehend that. They think I do this full time. Don't matter. It's over. I have 3 rigs to work one now, all mine and all projects. It's the same thing with the people who fix stuff for me, and why I haven't asked to have anything fixed. I sent a carload of stuff home with Alan when he last visited; Doug's so covered up with work he can't take on anything else for a long while; John in FL only takes on 10 rigs a month and I contact him the first of each month as instructed; Gary has three rigs of mine already and I get one back from him repaired every two or three months. I just wait for one of them to tell me they're ready to take on another and then I send it off. I don't bug anybody about the stuff I need done. Wish you luck and 73.

The mutual friend thought I was nuts because of all the work I did, and shouldn't have given back the Superbase. I looked at it another way. I cut my losses early, and opened up time to work on my own rigs, which have taken a back seat to everyone else's. Smart move. Saves you a whole lot of grief. Been there, too.
