Nice sounding video gate Spitfire, Thanks! I was looking for the quote of the night but couldn't find it yet. Now I could be totally wrong, but I believe it was Sandbagger when asked if a local operator could come over to pick up some coax "like right now" he may have said "I have to go...I'm filling my swimming pool and its overflowing" or something to that effect. Too funny and had me in tears laughing

Too funny and had me in tears laughing Yea, the timing of that sure makes it seem like I made it up as an excuse to back out of there. But it was the honest to God's truth. The wife came in and "reminded" me that I had left the hose running into the pool (which I had started at like 7:30, and completely forgot about). So I had to run down and shut it off. Thankfully it did not reach the point of overflowing, but it was high enough that I could start the filter, and dump in a bunch of chemicals. I did come back about 10 minutes later.

The unintended comedic timing was spot on. FYI...I may use that line in the future.

You can definitely tell a difference in receiver selectivity between the TRC-55 and the Tram Titan II. Night Ranger

Sounds like there is still a little receive issue with the TRC-55 making some people sound a little rough on the voice peaks. I noticed in on several people. The IF probably needs an alignment. The Tram has far better receive audio quality.

Who was the guy peaking at S9 who was relaying between you and One-eyed-jack? That was Buffalo Bob Evidently, he's either much closer to our neck of the woods, or he's on top of a really nice hill running a great deal of power, based on the difference in signals.
