Was on the Stryker factory site and saw this new SR 655 HP AM/FM Radio listed. Looks almost identical to the SR 955 HP AM/FM/SSB radio but without the SSB. Price point is currently around $270 so about a hundred less than the SR 955. It uses the same four FQP13N10 mosfets in the final section as the 955 for a rated 70+ watts PEP. I would assume it would roost a similar dual final rig: strykerradios.com/index.php/stryker-sr-655hpc.html

Great radios, I have 497, Only issue with Stryker is the service sucks. Oh well, can't have everything.

Even though I seldom use SSB, I think I am going to go with the SR-955.
