Looks like a Turner "Signal Kicker" or similar. The little brother of that big "ultra kicker" directional that we talked about a couple of weeks back.

Turner's Base Kicker antenna. Almost bought one back in 1975.

My local shop was pushing them. Claimed great gain figures. I wound up getting an Avanti AV-170 Sigma.

Does anyone know much about these antennas? Are they still available? Thse antennas were available around the mid 70's, they are no longer available unless you can find an old CB Shop that has one hiding some place!

After I checked the photo closer, I saw the loop on the bottom. The SS didn't have that. Maybe that's from my time in the Miltiary when I was out of touch with the CB world. LOL.

Back when everyone was making base antennas, almost all the companies were producing some sort of mobile & base antenna. Turner's mobile antennas were a fairly common site around here, but not the base. The local CB shop carried them, but really didn't push them as hard as they did with the others. Probably had less of a profit margin. ;D
