Like Sparky said, I'm not usually around much other than Wednesdays nights, unless I'm running around in the mobile. But it looks like the winter sporadic-E skip is starting up. |

I started hearing the sporadic E skip about two weeks ago. During the winter sporadic E season the first to come in is usually one of the Great Lakes states or nearby Canada. It was pretty weak. I also heard some of the PA locals about two weeks ago, but it was only for a few seconds at a time. In South Carolina the winter sporadic E skip usually starts in the evening as the F Layer skip dies out. Since I have two radios set up I'll start keeping one tuned to channel 13. Night Ranger |

Always a pleasure to hear you on 27.115 AM via that "lazy H" Night Ranger and what a great signal and clean loud audio you were bringing that night with that Browning and D&A combo.
On the PA side, I was running mostly new school stuff with an EchoMax 2000 mic'd 2995DX into an X-Force HD (4 x 2879) thru the Sirio 2016 vertical antenna.
I usually try to give a shout for ya when I start hearing Georgia and Alabama start coming in ;D

Cool watergate, thank you. I've got to get the web cam on the meter dealio too for my gates.
I've been running the simple windows sound recorder but will need to switch to movie maker when using the camera I assume.
