Super thanks for the high quality gate Night Ranger! That Midland looks new old stock. I was in the shack cleaning and boxing up some stuff when I thought you were a local  That's a good thing, because your signal was booming into PA in fine fashion with clean loud audio. 44 Dave was on a barefoot Galaxy Saturn. He was checking the echo feature out. I was helping him get it set and he sounded great with just a touch of reverb. First time I've heard him with echo by the way  I was running the Stryker 955 due to a power grid noise issue I've been having during the day up here. The 955 has a pretty good noise filter (but not as good as the 497 in my mobiles) Seems like I got some decent audio out of the 955, SSB +2 and the old (4x) X-FORCE combo. Bring on some more of that good type of propagation mother nature please. |
