I remember the "Secret Sam"... Yea, I remember those diplexers/matchers that allowed you to run a CB on a car radio antenna. It did work....... although not very well. But it did allow you to run around in "stealth" mode.

The only one of these I remember that worked at all was sold by Antenna Specialists back in the 70s. It was the whole antenna, and the combiner was also a tuner for the CB side. Only way to make a 3-foot whip tune to CB without a loading coil on it.
There were some others that claimed to work on CB with a standard factory auto antenna, but my experience with those was that you had a receive-only antenna for CB. Transmit performance was disappointing.
Even the one that worked would limit you to 'barefoot' power, as in 4 Watt carrier. Had one customer who blew up the linear and the combiner box trying to run power on a stealth antenna.
