I think the Eye-Ball Meet & Greet for Pa, NJ, DE, MD was a huge success. And really nice turnout and have heard chatter of a Spring Break EyeBall Meet & Greet? Let hope so because I missed the last one.

Really wanted to make this one, would have been my first but i feel as though ive made great contacts via this forum and would have liked to thank so many of you in person for all your help and interest in what im doing. I'd also like to let you all know how re-inspired i am to know so many are out there ready to help and keep it all going and growing. Looking forward to the next opportunity. 321 the treeclimber

Wow, there's one I haven't seen in a long while. And at that only in catalogs. Never knew anyone who had one. How well does it work?

Bagger I just pulled that off the Web wish I had one myself π Iβm assuming itβs like a Palomar Skipper 73 β Knowing the relationship that Palomar and Siltronix/Swan once had, that wouldn't surprise me.

Also a great turn out for last weeks Classic Radio Round Up. Tons of classic CB radios OTA. I'll jump in this year starting out with a mid-late 1960's classic General Radio Telephone Super MC-11A tube CB. Got it at a ham fest over the summer with the mic jack already converted to a 4 pin. Just got around to plugging it in and was surprised to see it worked well, didn't explode and reports were it sounded good paired with the trusty 'ol Turner Plus 2 mic. This radio has lots of nice features like a silky smooth squelch and a receive clarifier. Not sure yet if this one has had the "Export Only" high power resistor by-passed or not. There is no external load and tune so I may need to look inside for a variable cap & coil to get matched up with my system.

You'll get more modulation drive at the lower power level and your amplifiers will thank you.......

Delco Boys did FCC license call sign and Stock Mic for Classic Radio Roundup night. Some had there original call signs and others made up for the night. Mine was KOP-0614 / No Streak. Was good turnout on the Delco end!

You guys still getting in there Wednesday nights? I had my IMAX down for some time while I experimented with TV antenna install configurations, but my station is now back together, and with the cool weather setting in, it's time to dust it off and knock the cobwebs out.

I pretty sure they still got it going on Wednesday Classic Radio Roundup! I canβt hear them myself and the train makes it impossible to hear down my way here in Delco. But from what I hear the gang is all still there keeping the spirit alive!

Yep, we're still in there for the roundup on Wednesday nights. Although it would seem that on any other night, just about every channel is dead or nearly so.
