Any suggestions and cleaning up the audio in a Mark three? Even with a stock microphone and the internal audio adjustment turned down, the audio is still muddy. It is not clear like a bell like it should be. Do you know how when you hear someone and it sounds like their words are kind of running together? Any suggestions on things to try would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You might have a element in the microphone that could be failing. Have you tried another microphone, preferably a known working one?

One or more "flat" tubes that have lost their emission.
The small electrolytic capacitors in the transmitter affect audio quality when they fail. So do the big ones. If they're original, they will have to go.
That would be the 'hit parade' of the most-typical causes.
