Not really. Will serve to reduce bass response and overall audio gain. Not the same as boosting treble tones. 73 What would increasing versus decreasing the value of the 25 µF capacitor do? Thanks.

Increasing the capacitance value of the 6BQ5's cathode-bypass cap from 22uf should increase bass response.
Of that tube.
Only.
Won't affect the response of the audio circuits upstream from that tube. Bass tones are attenuated before the 12AU7 clipper tube because they would make the voice audio "muddy".
Can't "put back" missing bass response by changing only the output stage. It will make only a small overall difference by itself.
