There has not been Twelve people on here in the same day since the 70's & there was always somebody on then. When it died it Died quickly here.
Sadly the same here, too.
Except for very recently, we almost always exceeded 12 check-ins during our Wednesday night Classic Radio Roundup. Lately it's been around 6 or 7 people.
Up until the late 90's, there were channels crowded with people. It seemed to die off right at the turn of the century..... But even then there were still 2 or three local channels that had a decent amount of people on them.
Bringing yesterday's CB radio fun into the 21st century.
If you're in the SE-PA area, join us Wednesday nights on Ch 13 for "Classic Radio Roundup", where you can hear a bunch of yesterday's radios strut their stuff in fine style.
There is no local traffic here in Fenton/Flint, MI area. Just two locals that get on perhaps once or twice a week and not too friendly with a newcomer. I remember in the 1980s about 20-30 on CB every night. I was a kid and someone always had a weekend party going on. At times two parties one on Friday night and other on Saturday night. It was fun.
