Picked up a PAL Model E VFO a few months back. I was wondering what could be done to make it work with my Browning Mark III or Mark II?

The PAL has a VFO circuit that runs at 5 MHz no matter which version you have. This gets mixed with a crystal. The combination of the two frequencies is what gets sent into your radio to fool it into thinking a crystal is running in it.
Short version: Change 3 coils, at least that many disc capacitors, a resistor or two, the mixing crystal and then align it.
No step-by-step or clear-cut parts list exists to make this easy.
PAL did post scans of the old setup files showing which part values go with which version setups.
Serves as a starting point to then get it "tweaked" onto the new operating frequency.
