Have a MKll transmitter that lost its audio, still keys. The 6bq5 tubes has no voltage. Checked the 250 & 500 ohm resisters, there good. Have rebuild the tone gen. It has voltage. Changed all parts except SR4 not sure what number to replace it with. Jim/238

Checked the other tubes they have voltage. Is the voltage for the 6bq5 go though the PA switch? Jim/238

Figured out today you have to check the 6bq5 with radio keyed. Hooked it to a meter & dumpy loan got audio now. Had checked with load with out meter inline. That was a mistake. The 220K resister in the tone gen strip was bad. It was the reason i was working on it. Jim/238

On the sch it shows C30 & C22 are 25MFD x 25V. My transmitter has 20UF x 150V, they are original. I have 47uf x 250v. will they be ok? Jim/238
