Howdy Ya'll
I'm a new member here and have a mark III on the way here that i just bought off ebay. I last had a browning back around 72 or 73 and it was an r27 S23 and i was jut out of my teens. I coveted one of my friends Mark III's . I thought a week or so ago I figured I'd just buy one. When i get it I'm either going to plug it up and cry or be a very Happy camper. i figure it's a 50/50 shot. I know I'm going to have to do some stuff to it . I'm a tech so I should have should be able to do the work (famous last words). I'm sure I'll have a million questions because i plan on using he radio. I've got to get a decent antenna now. So Anyway. You guys have a nice evening and I'll be lurking about until I get the radio...

Welcome aboard RBDUCK! Ive been running those old birds since 96 and I love them to death. I just got a Mark II with SSB15 and Transadapter and I am expecting it in any day also. Ill be like you... plug it in and cry or jump with joy! Most all these guys on here have some handy tips about these fantastic old radios so dont be shy to ask. It doesnt seem to bother them at all! LOL....any way, Maybe I'll hear your old Mark III on there one day.. Dr. Rigamortis, Channel 21 AM, South East Missouri; Golden Eagle Model B, Mark II, Mark III, Mark IV x 2
