The 6L6GC was used as the final in the 23-channel D201 radios.
The 6DG6 is also known as type "6W6GT". This tube is smaller, but shows higher peak power. Trouble is, a smaller tube that does more power also wears out faster. The 6L6GC can be used in a 40-channel D201A radio, but the neutralization cap will have to be adusted to compensate.
