I picked up a Eagle 400, I thought it was tired and kind old. Once I go tit home and took it apart, this thing is in perfect condition! Tubes are all orginal and it puts out 900 watts with little swing to it For 250 bucks it was a great find!

Well as long as the inside is clean. Does it have the fake woodgrain finish?

Well as long as the inside is clean. Does it have the fake woodgrain finish? Hey now, I love that 70's fake wood! I am a sucker for anything tube driven, this amp is just so dang nice...only issue I have seen is a couple of the switches seem dirty and I will clean those, but dang 900 watts and that is not pushing it very hard ( 3 watts drive via one of my Tram D201as)

Interesting, or just fab up a pot to tun them up manually if the system gets to hot...or maybe a little of both

I wonder if a pot in parallel with a thermistor would work? Set lower temp speed with pot and set the other to go up in resistance when temp goes up . parallel resistance goes down!!??
