Hey Badnews456, I've been runnin a Maco V quad 4 About 5yrs , the receive is about equal to an Imax 2000, but i can focus better for skip when other Grd planes can't, the back end is pretty loose poor rejection on back but sides are good. they work better as they age/oxidize in the weather, i put my up due to no room for downward ant lenghts would scrape the roof so the V works well 4 me i run mine in the LL postion.. hope it works good 4 you, Plus It has taken at least 600w that i've run through it. If you guys like quads you might want to look into building a 4 element long boom qaud. I used parts from 2 moonraker 4 beams and the elements. The fiberglass elements i used I got from TSC farm supply. The boom was 21' long and wow, the qaud was a performer and F/B was unbelieveably tight. I have a guy that lives about 10 miles from me that runs an I maxx 2000, RCI 2980, and a 500 watt amp. He usually gives me a 9 plus 10 over. When i turned the quad, he dropped down to an S1 to almost zero.
