I did some looking around before I asked and found too little that directly answers this question: Does anyone know how the take off angle compares between the cubical quad and the moxon beam?
Thanks for any answers.

May I suggest that you take a look at the "S-METER.COM web site or the "W4RNL" web site for this information. BUT Some key things to consider about "Antenna Modeling Programs" are that they do not take into consideration , ground conductivity, surroundings (A.K.K radio horizon ) trees & buildings , the little things that "bite". Modeling programs work in a prefect world. Also, from a physical stand point , quad's are usualy a bit easier to work with than moxon's.
