I have a Sears SSB base that needs a tuneup but inside the radio -NOT ONE- VR or pot is marked. I dont have a clue about this radio and for me thats RARE! I cannot find anything on the net anywere about this cool looking base. I even took it to a tech i know, and he refused to work on it due to the same reason i cant work on it, No info! I called another tech, and he gave me the runaround about rare old radios and not having a Sams book for it. Im about to give up and throw it in the trash!!!

I can't find it, either. Do you have a different model #? Or a photo?

Link? I'd like to see it. I know for a while they used a Hy-gain radio.

Nice! I looked at a photo I found online, and it does look like it was made by Hy-gain (at least the photo I saw).
