Helped mine. I connected one of my tower legs to my 29-ga roof and it extended my ground wave radius distance. I'd guess it has something to do with decoupling from earth ground, but someone with more techsense than me can explain that concept better than me.
Enjoy.

What antenna?
The simple answer is yes, it will interfere.

I would think that the metal roof would give you a nice reflection as long as it's grounded in a couple of places. There's something about antenna height. I think that the antenna should be mounted as high as possible.

My feeling also. My 1200+ sq ft metal roof is a part of my station ground system; about 60 feet beneath my A99 and 30 feet beneath my 75M dipole. I get much better performance from both antennas and especially the dipole since I relocated it from above terrain.
For lack of better knowledge I just consider the roof to be an "unbalanced counterpoise."

I would think it would act as a reflector, dont have one but it would be my next roof.

if the antenna is above the middle of the roof great . if its on the side of the building the tx and rx will be weaker in directions opposite the roof . like the difference between mounting a mobile antenna in the center of the roof vs. the bumper .
