Welcome to the forum Frenchy. There are plenty of tips to repair that radio in the pages of the Tram/Browning posts here. And a group of people that can help you get it back on the air.

A Titan II schematic is a tough find. The only solution I can see is for you to get a copy of Sams Photofact CB-24 (about $22 US for a PDF of the Tram). The website is: www.samswebsite.com

I didn't know that Gregg has a website and it's saved in my favorites. Too bad that I can't find an "S" meter for my R27 receiver. The coil opened up on mine so I put the modulation meter in it that I took out of a parts S23 transmitter. At least I have a meter in it that reads something. I'm afraid to try and swap the numbered plate from the old "S" meter into the mod meter. too delicate.

Email Greg at :sales@goldeneagleradios.com
Not all items he has are on the site. He might have a good used meter .

Ok, Marc. I'll probably just call him on the landline. A few years ago I sent the receiver to him for repairs and at that time he didn't have any of those type meters, he told me that they're impossible to find but by now, like you say, he may have something. He told me that I could send both meters to him and he would try to change the "S" meter's numbered plate over to my good modulation meter but he also said that he couldn't guarantee that he wouldn't mess things up too because they're so delicate and tricky to do. I'll contact him anyway, you never know. Browning On!
