was wondering if anyone has the alignment instructions on a eico sentinel tube cb radio, the receive is just a hair off, it is a similar radio to the courier 23, i have a ton of older tube cb's, been collecting for years, i have some of the sams photofacts but not all, probably time to start purchasing them! you know how it is , cb, constant buying.
any help on the eico would be apreciated, thanks,,,,,,, jim

I checked my SAMS main index and there are two models of the Eico Sentinel. There is a model 779 Sentinel 23 and it's in SAMS CB 9. There's a model 779A Sentinal Pro and it's in SAMS CB 17. I checked CB Tricks website and the radios are listed but not much information, no service manual, no alignment instructions. I don't know anywhere to get what you need except in a SAMS manual and that depends on what model Sentinal you have. I don't know if Secret CB manuals would have alignment instructions or not. Maybe someone else on here can help. There's always a slim chance that you could find the service manual listed on Ebay, it's worth a look. You need the SAMS manual. Sorry that I can't help you more.

I had one of those radios in the 70's. They were classics.

yes the radio has a copper chassis and the face is clean, i got it off ebay 3 years ago, storie was that it came out of a cb shop and was used to test monitor cb radios, i dont know if the storie was true but i will say for a 1965 radio it is immaculate. i guess i didnt do to bad with the receive alignment by ear as i had it on last night and it received every bit as good as my cobra 2000 and i got good audio reports. its a keeper,,,,,, jimbo
