They are very rare, very expensive radios.
For very serious CB collector's, they are a must to have.
But as far as an operating radio, they leave a lot to be desired for the price....

VERY expensive to purchase a good one, and VERY expensive to fix.
The Stoner is a wide-open radio to fix compared to an ARF 2001.
Many boards in it..... Pretty complex circuitry....
Not very good AM reception. Prone to bleedover from adjacent channels.
I do not think a service manual is available for it.
For it to sound good on transmit, you need the special D104-C mic that came with it. The mic has a special amplifier board in it that is powered by the radio.
As I said, great for a collection, but on the air, your Stoner will most likely run rings around it !!!
