They are the same design as the old ones before MFJ started remaking them. Supposedly, at first, there were some problems with ill-fitting and missing parts. But, overall, if you are willing to replace some of the cheaper hardware that is provided with stainless stuff, they are a nice antenna.
ponyexpress has built some, and has photos of the new ones being put together that he has shared on other forums.

"Illegal to use on 11 meters" Do people still drop antennas across power wires? I guess the CPSC still has a ban?

"Illegal to use on 11 meters" Do people still drop antennas across power wires? I guess the CPSC still has a ban? Yep, that disclaimer keeps them out of trouble. The CPSC still restricts 11 meter metal omni antennas. That's why the good metal omni antennas are being marketed as "10 meter antennas".
