It's nothing like a D201. Seriously, it's one of the best SSB transceivers out there.

Seeing that I don't side band much. I guess that's why i know little about the stoner. Last SSB rig I had was my Galaxy 99v, which is long gone. And I don't use the MK III on SSB. Also because it only works on am. LOL.. 73

If you like AM, you can't use a Stoner. Seriously. It doesn't have it.
If all SSB rigs worked as well as the Stoner, we'd have a lot more SSB use on the 11M band.

They are tough finds, the owners usually hold onto them. But if you do see one, and can afford the asking price, you won't be disappointed. Most of them are kept in great shape because the owners care for their equipment. Kind of like all the people here.
