It is nice being able to switch between the two when chasing DX.

I say the quad is a little better on RX. better ears, and like i said before I miss being able to switch between flat and vertical on the quad. The M107 has a very narrow pattern. I have to pay attention to how precise I point the m107 to be dead on when talking DX

Sorry to see the wind damage, that sux. They reported a tornado in the Lancaster PA area two nights ago. We do not see tornadoes very often in PA. Hope everyone's antennas made it thru okay.

I am jealous. I live in a co-op and am limited to 1 antenna (not suppose to have one at all, but the management team gave me written permission to have one when I asked during a serious illness I had at the time). I wish I could put up a beam, but it isn't in the cards. I need to move some day just so I can have one.
