Google his EBAY username. The guy has a significant reputation issue not only in the radio business, but in the auto parts world too. I wouldn't buy a mike connector from him... He flat out lies in his Ebay listings..both about the condition and features of his items. Every radio he sells has "been in a radio museum"  been a display model or some other to good to be true BS. It doesn't matter what brand of radio it is, he has been a "dealer" of that brand for 30 years. His Trams and Brownings all have the "rare factory neon bulb audio mod", whatever that is. He claims to have had "an uncle who worked from Browning Labs and acquired several Golden Eagles when they closed "(more BS) How this idiot is allowed to continue to operate on Ebay is amazing. During the last 18 months he's had several (at least 6) claims of fraud against people he's bought from, always for "item not as described" issues. Google provides details of those. His pictures frequently make him out to be a liar (a recent R-27/S23 is a good example) claiming it was unmolested, stock etc. Pics told a different story..Now he claims to have a "Factory modified" Cobra 2000 with FM...Oh Boy, thats a freakin MUST HAVE! I understand that a nice example of a radio will bring a good price, but this joker is absurd. |

And yet, none of his tactics would mean a thing, except that there are enough dopes out there who buy into it, that he makes sales based on those dubious claims. And yet he has 1527 feedback with no neutrals or negatives.  I just don't think my conscious would allow me to rip people off the way he has. |
