Is there a particular channel or frequency that people use for SSB talk? Horizontal or vertical? I've not been to the forum in a while . Reality thing going on. Things are getting better again and I'm looking for some stuff. I hope you guys are all good. Thanks #medium-smiley-141# I'm still looking for my old stolen Mark 3 to show up on Ebay or Craigslist. I'm not obsessed or anything, just crazed and still mad. #american#

Almost all 11 meter ssb is on LSB channels 36,37,38,39 sometimes 40. Most activity is on ch 38. Locally we sometimes use the old channel 16 for SSB when using our 23 channel classics.

As mentioned, channel 38 is a very popular SSB call channel. Also channel 16 is still used by people with 23 channel rigs.

Interestingly, I heard quite a bit of South American LSB skip last night on Ch 13 and I've heard it there before.
I guess anything goes on CB like all the regular traffic on Ch 9 nowadays. Heck, why not use FM on there if no-one cares anymore haha. A few of my rigs have it.

Sorry to read about the Mark III theft.
Did it have any unusual markings or external switches installed that would help identify the components if seen?

I have my 11 meter with a dipole on a horizontal v configuration in my computer room. Not so great with locals ; but I intended for DX where it shines, like 3 states away are locals loud and clear in 2 way conversations on sideband
