Supposedly, according to internet scuttlebutt, that radio is a bugger to get the clarifier "unlocked". I've never worked on (or even seen the schematic of) that radio, so I can't verify. It is a good looking radio (for a "modern" radio) though. But I like my classics. They're old like me.......

Looks nice, and at least you can turn the key beep off.

Is a good looking radio and I don't like many of the newer ones, maybe that's because I'm old too!!! I could sea it in my wifes truck and pretty sure she'd like it. Would have to get used to the graphic meter but it would be easier to sea at a glance in the truck. Have looked at the report on CB magazine site and it looks promising, just waiting for someone I know to grab one to get a closer to home review. Everyone have a great weekend.

The Side bands on the grant have always been outstanding and I will agree that the FM mode would be nice to have, but give me an old original...
Then again, this is a radio I would love to have installed in any one of my vehicles.

Good looking radio for sure! Wondering how it stacks up against the older Grants which were great SSB radios, still have one.
