Just another example of someone who has no idea what they have and what it's worth. And you're right, Cybernet chassis AM radios are a dime a dozen, and nothing outstanding about them. That radio, in my mind, unless it is NOS never opened in the original box, is worth about $15 max. If it is truly NOS, I'd maybe go as high as $50. When you click on the link it shows other radios of the same model and what they are listing for, and every one is far less. You would think that would give him a clue.
