Great post/catalogue. I have looked at part of it. Seems the radios are high in price then, bet they made the money for a year or two or more. The first picture sure was loaded with gear. DOCTOR/795

If you do a google search, Henshaws is still in business at their original location. I still have a yellowed and well-worn 1974 Henshaw's catalog. They were the "Copper Electronics" of the 70's. Their prices were about average for the time. CB radios cost a heck of a lot more back then, before the advent of cheap Chinese labor and poor quality that we have today.

Wow do remember Henshaws! Will no doubt really enjoy looking through that catalog later tonight. Thank you so much for the post!!!! Had to smile at the adds for the D&A amps, you got a free low pass filter. Great stuff thanks again.

There was a Henshaw's CB in Fort Worth in the mid 70's. They were in a old grocery store on Belknap st. They had every model CB that they sold in the catalog on a shelf on the wall. The salesman would escort you to the radio you were interested in & switch the antenna to that set so you could give it a "test drive". The catalog was my wish book. I actually applied for a job there but I ended up at Shakey's Pizza as the manager when they called me to hire me. Great memories. Man that place was hopping in the 70's.
