Anyone remember the old days, where ssb was used on channel 16?, just curious, I heard some ssb on it the other night when the skip was in, could not tell where they were. I ran into a group on YAHOO channel 16 group and the old RC channels, not much activity on it though. Anyone ever use anymore chnl 16 for ssb, if so, will park there for a while. DOCTOR 795

DOCTOR 795 We tried for a short while to do a Sunday night "SSB addition" of Classic Radio Roundup using channel 16 LSB. Unfortunately, we ended up getting into a pissing contest with some semi-local (I could barely hear them) AM operators who took issue with us running SSB there. We eventually abandoned that endevour and it morphed into our Sunday night (SNUBWAP) 10 meter net.

In cruising the few other forums I stick my head into, I found out there are a number of guys still use it on ssb<lower> in FLORIDA in the evenings, and also some CANADIAN stations still use it when the skip is their way. Think I will park on 16 for a few days since skip has been in daily. DOCTOR/795
